Italian newspaper "La Repubblica" published the results of a survey conducted among students all across Europe. It turns out that Warsaw is in the lead among the cities in which it is best to live and study under the Erasmus program.

The Erasmus Scholarship is becoming increasingly popular among students. Every year the number of program participants increases. Foreign studies or practice not only allow you to learn the language, but also provide an opportunity to meet people from all over the world and experience an incredible adventure. According to the European Commission data, since the beginning of the Erasmus program, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, nearly 3.5 million students went abroad.

An international report prepared by the Uniplaces portal shows that Poland's capital is at the forefront of Europe's top cities where Erasmus can be spent. The study authors took into account factors such as the cost of renting an apartment, meal prices, public transportation tickets and university fees. Many students emphasized that Poland is one of the few countries offering studies not only in the mother tongue, but also in English, French or German.

Particularly satisfied with the stay in the capital of Poland are students from Italy, who appreciate not only the educational offer of Warsaw universities, but also a rich cultural and party offer. Professor Fabio Rossi from the University of Messina emphasized that the partnership agreement with the University of Warsaw is one of the best in the University's offer.

The Uniplaces study also shows that Italian students describe Poles as nice and hospitable and always willing to help. Such an image is certainly contributed by the non-profit organization Erasmus Student Network, currently operating in more than 40 countries around the world. There are currently 11 ESN sections in Warsaw alone. ESN members are responsible for supervising Erasmus students and organizing leisure activities such as: Events, hikes, language evenings, sports tournaments, museums or social events. Many students in the survey pointed out that without the events organized by ESN their stay in Warsaw would certainly be less successful.
